On Tuesday, Tomas Hubocan of Zenit St. Petersburg netted an own goal in the fourth minute of his club’s Champions League match against Real Madrid.
The Slovakian thereby recorded the second fastest own goal in the history of the competition, according to Infostrada.
The record belongs to Benfica’s Scott Minto who beat his own goalkeeper in the third minute of a Champions League match on 4 November 1998.
