Jermaine Defoe goes for Fernando Torres: Portsmouth - Tottenham Hotspur preview



On Sunday, Portsmouth hosts Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. Portsmouth striker Jermain Defoe is set to face his former club Tottenham for the first time since he left them to join Pompey in January.

Since Defoe left Tottenham at the end of the January transfer window, Spurs have won only four of their 20 Premier League matches – the fewest wins in the division in this period.

Defoe has scored 12 goals since joining Pompey. Only Liverpool’s Fernando Torres has scored more goals in the Premier League since 31 January, according to Infostrada.
