Last week, French international Karim Benzema completed his transfer from Olympique Lyon to Real Madrid. Real Madrid’s chairman Florentino Pérez has now spent 209 million euros on new players.
According to Infostrada Sports, in the 2000/2001 season, Pérez spent 100.3 million euros on new players as Real Madrid’s chairman.
